Movie Night: Pirates of the Caribbean

Movie NightAmy WileyComment

This summer we are missing the beach so badly, but using movie nights as a way to travel and explore from home. Even pirate-infested waters sound good at this point! We are working our way through the Pirates of the Caribbean movies on Disney+ and while I love the ride at Disneyland, but this is my first time watching the films!

Jack Sparrow’s adventures inspired a tablescape worthy of the high seas. This tablecloth has the look of an old map and we served drinks from message-in-a-bottle glass containers. The movie night napkins will be in next month’s Sassy Napkin Society boxes! They are versatile enough to fit all kinds of movie night adventures.

The simple addition of paper pirate dessert plates to our dishes we already owned completed the look.

This newly-acquired attachment for my vase was just perfect. Fresh flowers are such a treat and always seem to make their way to our movie night tables.

Of course Pirate’s Booty was in order as a crunchy movie snack.

If you have younger kids, you could use this same theme for this movie… one of our all-time favorites from when our kids were little.

Summer is a great time to watch the Pirates of the Caribbean movies and enjoy a family night full of adventure, action, and swashbuckling fun.
