Movie Night: Easter Parade

Movie Night, EasterAmy WileyComment

It’s Easter weekend and I have a delightful family movie night to share with you.  It involves putting Peeps in the microwave.  More on that in a moment.

Easter Parade came out in 1948 starring Judy Garland and Fred Astaire.  I love mixing in classic movies to our family nights.  This film is full of gorgeous gowns, fabulous hats, and beautiful singing and dancing. I adore it!

Our table is overflowing with Easter fun.  I’m the opposite of a minimalist... I like all the beautiful things all together!

I’ve had these bunny plates and napkin rings for many years.

After dinner we enjoyed one of our favorite Easter treats... Peeps s’mores!

I know Peeps can be a divisive topic (ha) but we are pro-Peep.  Yum!

If you have access to some sort of fancy outdoor fireplace situation, by all means roast your Peep on an open flame.  We put them in the microwave for exactly six seconds and it does the trick.

Try not to have too many s’mores because you’ll want to fit into your fabulous Easter attire.  You know, something like this...

Step back in time with this beautiful movie and enjoy some family time with your peeps!
